Chris Free from Cambridge is not only known for well crafted songs for his band The Sound of Pop Art (TSOPA), but also a legend of British Punk and Postpunk (The Users, A Craze). He was all fired up when we asked him if he wanted to take part in our WorldWideWadeland project and represent the motherland of Pop. The lyrics span an arc from great French actor Jean Moreau to the world situation, combined with a political statement, at least a plea for peace. This is what the world needs now! For the B-side, Seb tried to write German lyrics for the track "Tio Knivar" - yes, you're right... the first of our series, performed by Johan Lundgren! "Sanduhr" is a maritime love story from a time earlier this year when Venus was chasing Jupiter and a bastardisation of an old German poetry album saying ("Mach es wie die Sonnenuhr, zähl die heiteren Stunden nur!")
